About Me
Hi there! I’m Ani Mangold. I’m a Clinical Psychologist who provides PCIT services, trauma therapy for children and adults ages 3+, and ADHD testing for children and adults ages 6+. My physical office is located in Fargo, ND, but I’m also licensed in Minnesota and provide telehealth services across both states.
I decided to become a Clinical Psychologist after a lifetime of wanting to be a lawyer. Following the LSAT and a very brief internship with a profit-focused attorney, I questioned whether law was the best way to help my community. I chatted with (cried at) my academic advisor, and she showed me that I could provide services more aligned with my values if I earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
After receiving my B.A. in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2016, I began my graduate studies at the University of North Dakota and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2022. Throughout my education and career, I’ve worked in child advocacy, community mental health, private practice, and hospital settings. I have extensive training in using PCIT in-person and via telehealth, evidence-based trauma therapy modalities, and 8 years of experience in ADHD testing.
I do what I do because I love it! I opened Ani Mangold Psychological Services PLLC to provide services that reflect what I’m about. I believe in providing individuals and families in rural North Dakota and Minnesota with quality care, so they can have healthy and successful futures. I also prioritize providing care that works and only use treatment modalities that are grounded in strong, scientific research. Most importantly, I value engagement. I want to make each hour spent with me, whether in-person or via telehealth, as enjoyable as possible by ensuring that the treatments I use are tailored to each one of my patients. When I work with children and teens, I explain concepts through art, games, and other activities (ask me about my telehealth kits)! When it comes to ADHD testing, I value removing barriers and increasing access to care with streamlined processes and quick turn-arounds. My patients are never scheduled months or years out— I currently have immediate availability!
It’s my hope that I can provide you and your loved ones with support in navigating challenging behaviors, a traumatic event, or the psychological testing process. As I mentioned before, I really love being a Clinical Psychologist— so I’m happy to answer any questions you may have to determine if I’m the right fit for your child. I also offer free 15-minute consultations and will respond to all inquiries within 1 business day!
